Great unit Sep 05, 2010 It is a great GPS. It is my second. After over a year, the first one fell & hit the gear shift cracking the internal screen. Didn't find another for the features & price I liked better. Searches could be better. Sometimes when you look for a spelled out name at another location, it searches forever and never seems to find it.

Garmin Nuvi 265 WT Sep 05, 2010 After starting our trip using AT&T Navigator on my cell phone and having it freeze up for most of the afternoon, and even worse, just as we were pulling into Washington DC at 11:00 PM, I knew we had to have something better. I checked reviews for GPS units and found that the Nuvi 265WT had excellent feedback from professionals and other users alike. I immediately ordered it and had it sent to my hotel. The rest of our 2 week trip driving all around the eastern and mid-west portions of the country was great.
The only problem we had was in finding one particular street in Buffalo, New York. For some reason, it did not come up on the 265WT. Other than that, I love this unit!
I love that the 265WT shows both speed limit and actual driving speed. I was even more impressed when I would see a change of speed limit sign upcoming on the road and find that the 265WT would update to the new speed as I was passing the sign. I love the traffic alerts and rerouting option. The multiple waypoints are also very handy for drives having multiple stops without having to re-program the unit after each one. I have not tried the bluetooth capability so cannot speak to that yet.
Overall, I have been extremely happy with the Nuvi 265WT!
Present for boyfriend Sep 05, 2010 He has not used it very much yet, but says so far so good. Thank you. Great price and fast delivery!
Garmin nüvi 265W/265WT 4.3-Inch Widescreen Bluetooth Portable GPS Navigator with Traffic Sep 03, 2010 I bought this product as I was planning for my road trip to Canada. This product was very useful during my trip. As I was travelling with little one, I have to make some unscheduled stops but GPS was able to put me back on track without any mistake.
Free traffic information was useful but not accurate enough. Now having so many free traffic information websites and resources available, there is definitely room for improvement in that area.
Routing overall takes you to the destination but sometime those are questionable. Bottom line I did not get lost may have burned more gas :-) It could be good to have a feature where you can navigate the whole route map. As of now you can zoom in and out.
Overall, this product is user friendly, easy to configure, POI works great. It is very easy to mount on windshield. Traffic information is good to have. Re-routing calculation is fast and quick. I like this product by having the peace of mind, no matter were you are going.
Good value for the Money Sep 02, 2010 Got the 265WT two weeks ago. It worked well on my road trip to Maine. Picked up satellites quickly. Routing was fairly quick and traffic information was helpful. One issue involves updating the information on the points of interest function. We found a few of the points of interest were either closed or no longer exist. After my purchase I did see that Garmin started providing the traffic function on one of the lower models (255, I believe) and would have considered that model if I had seen it at that time which is 20 - 30 dollars cheaper.
